New Delhi [India], September 17 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party National President JP Nadda said on Tuesday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had made great efforts to improve the lives of the people from all sections of society while providing a report on the works that the Modi 3.0 government did during its first 100 days since the formation of the NDA government back on June 9.
Addressing the media, the Union Minister said that the third term of PM Modi has seen rapid progress in its first 100 days and that the achievements of various ministries would be made public by the ministries in the next four to five days.
Nadda further said the building of 3 crore permanent houses for the poor has also started under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Rs 2 lakh crore has been released in the 17th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi.
“Modi 3.0, i.e., the third term of the honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, has seen rapid progress. To mark the completion of 100 days of the third term of the honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the achievements of 100 days of the various ministries of the Modi government will be told to the public by the ministers for the next four-five days,” Nadda said.
“In Modi Government 3.0, within 100 days, approval was given to build 3 crore houses for the poor under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. With the approval, the work of building permanent houses has also started. Similarly, the 17th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi has also been released. Under this scheme, an amount of more than Rs 2 lakh crore has reached the accounts of farmers so far,” he added.
Nadda also emphasised the centre’s approval of the Unified Pension Scheme and also the increase in the amount of the minimum support price. He further stated that during these 100 days, 15 Vande Bharat trains have started operating, approval to build eight national high-speed road corridors was given and a total of Rs 3 lakh crore has been approved for improving infrastructure by the Modi government.
“In 100 days, the Modi government has approved the Unified Pension Scheme. Keeping in mind the interests of the farmers, the amount of minimum support price has been increased. During this period, 15 new Vande Bharat trains have started operating. Approval has been given to build 8 National High-Speed Road Corridors. Approval has been given for 8 new broad gauge railway lines. Approval has been given to build 12 new smart cities. Also, an allocation of Rs 3 lakh crore has been approved to further improve the infrastructure,” he said.
Nadda said that under the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Jan Arogya Yojana, a free treatment facility of up to Rs 5 lakh per year would be provided to people above the age of 70 in the country and that under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana, about 62,500 km of all-weather rural roads would be constructed to connect 25 thousand villages with roads.
“Under the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Jan Arogya Yojana, a scheme linked to all sections of society, now free treatment facilities of up to Rs 5 lakh per year will be provided to people above 70 years of age in the country, irrespective of income and social class of the person. The fourth phase of Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana has been approved. Under this, about 62,500 km of all-weather rural roads will be constructed to connect 25 thousand villages with roads. Many such works have been done during the third term of the Prime Minister, of which I have mentioned some major works. All these works have been done in just 100 days. The country has started moving forward with the resolution of “Developed India” under the leadership of the respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi,” Nadda said.
Nadda further stated that to celebrate PM Modi’s birthday today, the BJP workers will be celebrating it as ‘Sewa Diwas’ and ‘Sewa Pakhwada’ from September 17 to October 2.
He also extended his best wishes to PM Modi on behalf of all the BJP workers.
“Today is the birthday of PM Modi and like every year, the BJP is celebrating it as ‘Sewa Diwas’ and ‘Sewa Pakhwada’ from 17th September to 2nd Oct. PM Modi has made huge efforts to bring improvement in the lives of people from all sections of society… I extend my best wishes to PM Modi on behalf of all the BJP workers and pray for his good health and long life,” Nadda said.
