Jaipur Music Stage will feature a variety of artistes from the Indian subcontinent

Jaipur : As Jaipur gears up for the 15th edition of the Jaipur Literature Festival, the Jaipur Music Stage, which runs parallel to the ‘greatest literary show on Earth’, has announced its power-packed line-up of performers. The 2022 edition of the festival will be unique in itself with each day celebrating a specific genre – Fusion, Folk and Singer-Songwriter.

Rooted in the heart of India the Jaipur Music Stage will feature a variety of artistes from the Indian subcontinent and showcasing a multi-genre abundance in style, sound and history. Jaipur Music Stage 2022 is a music festival like no other, embodying variety, excellence and collaboration.

The Festival line-up includes much popular Indian artists and bands. Beginning the 1st day the Festival will feature Anirudh Varma Collective, a contemporary Indian classical ensemble, based out of New Delhi and led by Delhi-based pianist, composer & producer; Advaita, a leading Indian fusion band which has completed 14 years of musical journey with its 8 members Abhishek Mathur, Aman Singh, Anindo Bose, Gaurav Chintamani, Sarthak Pahwa and Rohit Prasanna and Chayan Adhikari  & Ujwal Nagar as the western Hindustani vocalists respectively.

The second day of the Festival will showcase Kabirpanthi folk singer Mooralala Marwada, a Sufi folk singer from the Janana village of Kutch in Gujarat, belongs to a lineage of gifted Meghwal singers; The Kutle Khan Project, a unique collective of Rajasthani folk musicians highlighting Kutle Khan, a multi-talented folk musician who has performed on various stages across the world. This performance will also feature well known Rajasthani folk singer Bhanwari Devi.

Concluding the Jaipur Music Stage 2022 the stage will be resonated by Kashmiri singer-songwriter Ali Saffudin with his blend of folk, rock, blues and Kashmiri Sufi music; Ankur & The Ghalat Family, a Hindi rock project of singer-songwriter Ankur Tewari, along with Gaurav Gupta, Sidd Coutto and Johan Pais.
