New Delhi [India], April 22 (ANI): Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar on Tuesday strongly condemned terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam and said his thoughts and prayers are with the affected families in this hour of grief.

“Deeply anguished by the horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Such acts of violence are reprehensible and deserve our strongest condemnation. My thoughts and prayers are with the affected families in this hour of grief,” the Vice President said in a post on X.

The terror attack targeted tourists in the Pahalgam area of Anantnag district.

Congress MP Manickam Tagore said he was deeply shocked by the terror attack.

“Deeply shocked by the terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam, J&K. Praying for the speedy recovery of the injured. Such cowardly acts must be condemned strongly. Kashmiriyat stands for peace and harmony–violence has no place in it,” Tagore said on X.
