Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], April 22 (ANI): Ananya Panday’s brother Ahaan Panday’s highly anticipated Bollywood debut film, directed by Mohit Suri, has finally got a release date. The film is titled ‘Saiyaara’.

The movie is produced under the banner of YRF, marking the first collaboration of the production studio with the ‘Aashiqui 2’ director Mohit Suri.

Billed as an intense love story, the film is set to release in theatres worldwide on July 18, 2025. This is also the first film which is being produced by the company’s CEO, Akshaye Widhani.

Along with the debut of Ahaan, the film also stars newcomer Aneet Padda in the lead heroine role.

While announcing the release date of the film, Yash Raj Films wrote,

“Yash Raj Films’ romantic film SAIYAARA, which introduces Ahaan Panday in the Hindi film industry & also stars Aneet Padda as the female lead, is set to release on July 18, 2025 in theatres worldwide. Presented by Aditya Chopra, Directed by Mohit Suri & Produced by Akshaye Widhani, SAIYAARA, is an intense love story that brings YRF and Mohit Suri together for the first time!”

The buzz around the debut of Ahaan started last year when YRF Studios called the actor ‘YRF Next Big Hero’ as per their website.

According to YRF, the actor Ahaan was groomed by Aditya Chopra and had trained at YRF for over six years before signing the film.

Prior to signing the film, the actor was introduced to director Mohit Suri for auditioning and screen tests.

“Ahaan was introduced to Mohit Suri so that the director could assess if he was the right actor to headline his film and be the quintessential romantic hero. Ahaan worked under Mohit’s supervision and floored him with his auditions and multiple screen tests! Mohit wanted a fresh, young boy who had the charisma to be a hero on the big screen, and he is supremely excited about Ahaan’s potential,” informed a trade source.

Ahaan Panday has also served as an Assistant Director on notable projects like ‘The Railway Men’ and ‘Mardaani 2’. (ANI)
